On November 25, 2024, we started an ambitious project in Dannes: the demolition of a 70-meter tall brick chimney at a cement factory. The project was carried out on behalf of the building owner EQIOM and in collaboration with our French sister company Helfaut Travaux. The work was completed on December 20, 2024.

To successfully complete this task, we used specialized equipment, notably our 'Prosper', a remote-controlled hydraulic unit that operates a concrete shear. 'Prosper' played a crucial role in the efficient and safe demolition of the chimney. Additionally, a 300-ton telescopic crane was used, supplied by Verhelst Machines.

The project required a team including two experienced operators and someone for using advanced machinery like our 'Prosper' and concrete shear. A key focus was working safely at great heights and carefully coordinating the demolition activities with minimal risk to the surroundings.
