At the beginning of April 2024, we started the demolition work at the former Lammens chicken slaughterhouse, a project now in its final stages. On behalf of Global Estate, we have completely demolished the existing factory buildings and office spaces.
The roofs of the buildings contained asbestos corrugated sheets, which we have carefully removed in compliance with the applicable standards. Additionally, we have removed and recycled large quantities of sandwich panels. The concrete floors and foundations have also been broken up and removed, resulting in a fully construction-ready site for future developments.
