Total project. Verhelst Aannemingen, part of Verhelst Group, is responsible for the earthworks, sewerage, roadworks, and landscaping for the construction of the entirely new district 'Nieuw Zuid' in Antwerp, commissioned by Attis/Triple Living. The works will proceed in different phases until 2028. Nieuw Zuid covers an area of 18 ha and will comprise 2000 residential units, along with schools, daycares, a sports hall, a student complex, and 10 residential towers of 24 floors (80m high). In total, 10km of sewerage will be laid and there is earthmoving including building pits of 1,000,000m³.
