In the dynamic world of earthworks, challenges come in many shapes and sizes. Our recent project in the back port of Zeebrugge is a perfect example of this.

The Challenge
The assignment was clear: elevating a significant piece of land, constructing a relief structure for a gas pipeline, extensive sewage works, and creating an entry and exit lane on Emmanuel Decloedtweg.
From the beginning, it was clear that this project required a combination of expertise, precise planning, and seamless execution. For this, we relied on our teams and their extensive experience to tackle every aspect of the project.
Project in numbers:
- Land area: 5.5 ha
- Soil brought in: 260,000 m³
- Preloading removed: 60,000 m³
- Soilmix wall: 800 lm
Conclusion
Despite the challenges we encountered along the way, we are proud of what we achieved during this work. We look forward to future collaborations with Port of Antwerp Bruges and other partners.
